All Wrapped Up is a gift list and occasion reminder application designed with your privacy in mind. We emphasize local data storage and minimal data collection practices. This policy explains how we handle your information.

Account Information (Optional — Cloud Sync Only)

If you choose to enable cloud sync, we collect your email address. It is used solely to send you a sign-in link, authenticate you, and associate your synced data with your account. We do not use it for marketing or share it with third parties beyond the service providers listed below.

Firebase Analytics for anonymous usage patterns
Device type, OS version, and geographic region data
Firebase Crashlytics for error diagnostics
No personal gift data is included in crash reports

Information We Do NOT Collect

Unless you enable cloud sync, we do not collect or access your personal gift lists, occasion details, or any names or personal information you enter into the app. When sync is enabled, that data is stored on your behalf solely to provide backup and sync — we do not use it for any other purpose.

The information we collect is used for:

Providing core app functionality
Sending sign-in links and authenticating your account (only if you enable cloud sync)
Backing up your data and syncing it across your devices (only if you enable cloud sync)
Analyzing anonymous usage patterns to improve the app
Identifying and fixing technical issues
Developing new features based on aggregated insights

Local Storage

Your gift lists and personal data are stored locally on your device by default. No data leaves your device unless you explicitly enable cloud sync.

Optional Cloud Sync (Supabase)

You may choose to enable cloud sync to back up your data and access it across multiple devices. This feature is entirely opt-in. Enabling it creates an account using your email address — we send a sign-in link to that address instead of using a password. When enabled, your data is securely transmitted to and stored in Supabase, a third-party database service. You can stop syncing at any time by signing out in the app. Supabase's privacy practices are detailed at supabase.com/privacy.

Data Deletion

Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data. If you have enabled cloud sync, you can permanently delete your account and all synced data at any time using "Delete Account" in the app's Profile → Account section. You can also request deletion by contacting us at info@countersunk.dev — we will action requests within 30 days.

We use the following third-party services:

Firebase Analytics (Google) - For anonymous usage analytics
Firebase Crashlytics (Google) - For crash reporting and diagnostics
Supabase - For optional cloud sync and data backup (only when you have opted in). Supabase stores your data securely in the EU. See their Privacy Policy.

Firebase services do not have access to your personal gift data. Supabase only receives your data if you explicitly enable cloud sync.

Links within the app may include affiliate parameters. Any commissions earned help support the development of the app at no additional cost to you. We do not track your purchases.

Notifications: Used for occasion reminders to help you never miss an important date
Contacts (Optional): Used for importing friends and family for local list management. This data is never uploaded.
Network Access (Optional): Required only if you choose to enable cloud sync. Used solely to communicate with Supabase for backing up and restoring your data. No network access is used for analytics or any purpose beyond sync when this feature is enabled.

All Wrapped Up is not directed at children under 13 years of age. However, given our minimal data processing practices, the app can be safely used by individuals of all ages.

You have full control over all locally stored data — delete it at any time by clearing app data or uninstalling
If you have enabled cloud sync, you can stop syncing at any time by signing out in the app
You can permanently delete your account, email address, and synced data at any time using "Delete Account" in the app's Profile → Account section, or by contacting us at info@countersunk.dev
You can opt-out of analytics via your device settings
App permissions can be revoked at any time through your device settings
Under UK and EU data protection law you also have rights of access, rectification, and portability over personal data we hold — contact us to exercise them

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any material changes will be announced within the app. Your continued use of the app after modifications constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
